South Whidbey Fire/EMS has had an interlocal agreement with Island County allowing us to conduct fire safety inspections in our district since 2013.  We will continue to work to make this a reality.  Fire safety inspections, pre-fires plans, and community engagement are at the heart of creating a safer community.  The Island County Fire Chiefs are continuing to work to update the interlocal with Island County and our officers are training now for certification in ICC inspector 1.
